Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Cooked Chickpeas
  • 1 Cup Smooth Tahini 
  • 2 Tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 5 Tbsp Water
  • Parsley
  • Warm Pita Bread For Serving 


Steps

  1. In a blender, place the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.
  2. Use the blender baton to blend until very smooth. 
  3. Add water as needed to blend, and/or to reach your desired consistency. 
  4. Transfer to serving plate. 
  5. Serve with warm pita as desired.
